From what I can tell, I don't think you should worry. Puppies tend to have kinda loose stool at around his age and although his may be worse than usual...I wouldn't worry if he acts normally. (Eats/drinks, plays and doesn't throw up or show any other symptoms.) Don't mean to gross you out but is there anything else weird about his stool? He may have internal parasites so it's good you're getting that treated/prevented. If his current condition doesn't worsen (he starts throwing up, won't eat, won't play ect ect) I wouldn't worry and just tell your vet about your concerns at your appointment. At least, that's what I would do if I was you :)

The weight loss thing is GREAT!  I hear ya about stress helping with that! Me too... I went for about 3 weeks with not much food but lots of wine. It was my way of dealing with everything.

ughgh.. after all that wait w. the crock pot(hrs), and  you puked it up.. i hate that ..

well, actually , the last time I made something in the crock, was about 7  months ago, but me too.  I puked it up..I think , thats why its been so long.. I know for some reason , I feel sick, if I add gravy to  a roast( it adds flavor ). I had to promise myself, no matter how much  someone might like a 'long cooked roast , it just aint happening, since I cant enjoy it..lol.Its roast in the oven  from now on.

 Im sad your going to have a friend leave, but its cool you'll get her clients.

As for you neice.. kindergarden is meant for the kids when they reach that age hun :)..  I know , my lil one will be going next yr.I CANT BELIEVE IT!!..lol.. they do seem like babies to us, they always will, but we had to do it once too..lol

 She probably  does love it.  She has so much more interaction w. her new lil friends..they usually do. & i pray it (loving it)stays with her. Your sister is a lucky one that has A CHILD W. THE 1ST DAYS OF SCHOOL LOVING IT. iTS A VERY EMOTIONAL THING FOR THE MOMS TO SEE THEIR BABYS GOING , AS IT IS..iM JUST HAPPY SHE LOVE S IT.

oh pss. I just thought. since you are 'trying  with the cooking '.. Did you ever hear of the 'set it & forget it ' oven ? "The showtime rotiserie" IT wud be great for you .  All you have to do is wash the chicken  or whatever your roasting, and place it in the oven. It rotates  for you & everything. & boil up  some veggies..  You can do roasts, chicken, ka-bobs, hot dogs . BUGERS ARE DELISIOUS IN THERe!!!!!!!!! .. Whats awsonme, is alll the fats just roll off into a tray onthe bottom. GREAT & healthy .... And you do maybe 20 % of the work..lol There ya go.they usually go for like 100.00, but WORTH IT .  I have 1, used soo much ..now I just got a new one from a garage sale. BUT IT WAS NEVER USED .--woo hoo me ,  Still in the box, original plastic & foam & everything.. The mom passed away, and she never used the xmas gift she got . I was lucky to get it at the perfect timing. but I  got it for 20.00, I cudnt belive it ..lol. BUT get it ,  & you & jack will love how its soojuicy inside. makes it perfect . YOu set  a timer for whatever it will be .It tells you when its done.

I can give allot of advice (i know your not looking for it..lol), but  some reason my advice just dont work w. my own husband..

I noticed you wrote..well 1st.. congrats on the new job  :).. but I noticed you wrote of 'cooked dinner '..and you write in your bio(chuckle..) 'would love to learn  to make macaroni & cheese & .....'..  maybe your kidding.,but I have some great simple meals you can try  & make. I love  to cook, I love to cook healthy things too, but  some i make arent so healthy  sometimes but  they can be 'tweeked ',, but   i love to make chicken meals & well, he loves his steak &  beef too, so i occationally make those too( steaks allot in summer on grill..lol).. But if you want a few simple recipes.. let me know. :)..I mean the kind,  you prep  fast & them just let the steamer  or over do the rest  of the work for you..lol

By the way... what part of NC are you in? Have you been there a long time? My sons are in SC now. One was in the army and stayed down there. My parents retired there and my youngest was in college down there but has returned home to PA this summer. I'm not sure if he is going back there or staying here. He's talked about switching colleges. I think he was alittle home sick for the familiarities and his friends.

I also noticed that you have two shih tzu's. I have one he is 10 mos old. I just love him. He is soooo attached. My youngest son left for college last Sept. So, my fiance' bought me a puppy to fill my empty nest syndrome. LOL...

He has helped alot.

I know how you feel. Going out and partying all the time was never my thing, which i guess is the reason why I'm so family oriented, too. But now that I know I CAN'T do those things it does make me a little jealous.

We can be kids at heart as long as we have our lives put together. I think even the most well-rounded person has their moments where they look back and think of themselves as a little immature. Thats just how we grow, constantly. You'll make a great mom when it happens. Are you two actually trying yet or just brainstorming?

In developmental psychology we went through birth to death. Needless to say, the end of the class was really depressing, hearing about how your body begins to break down and such.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandparents. When people know they are going to die they go through stages and eventually would like to talk about death, dying, and their life experiences. You feel helpless, but the best thing you can do is be an ear for him.
